A global strategy to increase foreigners visiting
Japan has begun!
The country is working on getting more and more foreigner to visit Japan for travel and for work.
It is said that about 16,000,000 Japanese tourists appear abroad every year whereas only about 1/4 (5,000,000) foreign appear visit in Japan every year.
In order to correct such a difference as much as possible, The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism settled on a "Global sightseeing strategy" that promoted foreign traveler's visit to Japan based on "Basic policy 2002 concerning the economic goods politics management and the structural reform" (cabinet decision on June 25, 2002).
"Visit Japan campaign" strategy included development of new tour packages, revitalize international airport and the lodging industry. Japan is aiming to be one of the most favored global country to visit. For this reason, the airline industry is seeking very talented people to give international level and high quality service.

The door entrance to Japan from foreign countries, Narita International Airport and Kansai International Airport are maintained as a transportation hub (base airport), and become the pivot of network in the airline in the world. In addition, the demand of Asian Pacific area departing flights from Japan increased more and more.
